Standard Terms & Conditions

For all bookings and contracts, SweetDreams works under the following agreement:

All contracts will incur a non-refundable deposit. The deadline and amount of the deposit will vary between products, but will always be 25% or more of the total sum, which must be received at least 6 weeks before the product is due to commence. For tour-bookings, the deposit must be received within 7 days of confirmation, otherwise the performance time cannot be guaranteed.

All SweetDreams invoices are calculated for BACS payment, or other direct-transfer method. Cheque payments will always incurr a 10% handling fee, and the account will not be considered closed until all monies are cleared within the company account.

Late payments will incur charges, as SweetDreams manage each product individually, and staff wages etc are contained within the Client invoice. Delays in payment from the Client results in delays for performer wages.

Late-Payment fees are applied to all accounts with 48 hours of payment being delayed. A fee of 10% is added within the first 48 hours, and cummulatively every 7 days there-after for 4 weeks. After 30 days from the due-date, the cummulative fee will increase to 20%, with additional increases of 5% every 28 days thereafter until the full payment is met.

SweetDreams will endeavor to ensure all performers satisfy current regulations regarding the protection of children and vulnerable adults, however we are keen to stress that our staff are actors and not child-care facilitators and as such are not intended to act as child-minders or supervisors without parents or legal guardians present.

All SweetDreams equipment is regularly tested for safety.

On each product, the Team Leader or Production Assistant will have a file containing copies of all relevant legal paperwork, including Public Liability Insurance, Health & Safety Policy and Complaince Certificates. In all cases, the originals will be kept in the SweetDreams office.

 

SweetDreamsKids & Scareuk Booking Terms & Conditions

The following conditions apply to all bookings for installations and events by as provided by our Kids and Scares teams for private bodies and corporate clients.

The Booking Agreement

That we, SweetDreams Interactive Theatrical Events, shall, on receipt of suitable deposit, perform the agreed product on the given date and time as set out in the booking confirmation.

The performance date and time will be set by both parties, and the time-slot secured by the above agreed deposit, which must be received by the date on the invoice.

All deposit bookings are non-refundable, and bookings made less than 30 days in advance may require the full amount to be paid in advance. Please be aware that late-bookings may incurr extra fees to secure performers and accommodation at short-notice. Bookings made less than 30 days before the start date of the product will require prompt payments and may be subject to much shorter payment deadlines. There is no 7 day grace-period on such late-bookings and are considered set and final from the date of confirmation.

All monies owed to the company must be paid by BACS or direct transfer and be received by the due date to avoid late-payment fees. All cheque payments will be liable to a 10% administration fee. Please remember that payment is not considered received until the funds have cleared into the company account. Please allow extra time for cheque payments to avoid late-payment fees. All invoice amounts are calculated for BACS payment, and these fees must be included by the client or separate invoices will be issued.

Terms of Cancellation

From the point of booking, the customer has 7 days before the deposit payment is due to cancel the agreement, providing that such happens 31 days or more before the start of the product. At this time, no further fees will be incurred. Should such a cancellation happen less than 31 days before the start of the product, then the deposit will remain non-refundable but no further costs shall be incurred. In all cases, if less than 7 days notice is given to cancel the product, then all invoices must be paid for in full and under our usual terms (see above).

If a product is cancelled after 7 days of confirmation but before the deposit payment is due, and less than 31 days from the start date of the product, then the deposit payment is still valid and must be paid in full.

SweetDreams retain the right to cancel this agreement giving 31 days notice, returning any monies received. Any cancellation on the part of SweetDreams with less than 31 days notice will result in severance payments and costs as agreed to find replacement services.
